Our Team

Kim Prager, LCSW

Therapy should be a place to experience being seen and heard and an opportunity for personal growth. My approach is collaborative and builds on one’s strengths. My focus includes helping to manage major life transitions, anxiety, depression, juggling multiple roles (parenting, caretaker, partner, career), health issues, and navigating the inevitability of change and loss. We will work together on a plan that helps generate greater insight, make changes that are difficult, and allows you to live in a way that is more aligned with your values.

My role is to actively listen, and ask questions that help the client articulate insights and goals. This is the essence of motivational interviewing and psychodynamic therapy. As a practiced mindfulness teacher, I use the practical and spiritual tools of mindfulness to help clients feel better and live with greater clarity, intention, meaning and purpose.

I have worked as a clinician for fifteen years, working with people from all walks of life. I have found that I most enjoy individual & couples therapy. I welcome you to reach out, and together, we can find a way for you to live more authentically, forge genuine connections, and prioritize goals that bring about positive change in your life.
